Job summary

QVC UK is seeking a Platform Content Creator to produce engaging live and pre-recorded content across TV, digital and social platforms, driving views, engagement and incremental sales.

The role is onsite at Chiswick Park, requiring end-to-end content creation from idea to publish and collaboration with Broadcasting, Digital & Social Media, Platform Strategy and Merchandising teams to deliver content that aligns with briefs, timelines and business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating and monetising social media content across multiple platforms.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging channels including Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
• Experience producing content using mobile devices and basic editing for social media and live content.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver engaging live and pre-recorded video content across QVC platforms to grow views, engagement and sales.
• Produce content from idea through scripting, filming, editing and publishing.
• Support live shopping and social selling across platforms including TikTok Shop.
• Moderate and engage with online communities during live shows reflecting QVC values.
• Collaborate with Broadcasting, Digital & Social Media, Platform Strategy, Merchandising and Planning to meet briefs and timelines.

The Platform Content Creator supports QVC UK, and creates engaging live and pre-recorded content across TV, digital and social platforms to drive customer engagement and sales.

Where You'll Work

• This role is onsite and will require you to work at the Chiswick Park office on a shift pattern.

What You'll Do

• Create and deliver engaging live and pre-recorded video content across QVC platforms, helping to grow views, engagement and incremental sales
• Produce self-generated content from idea through to execution, including planning, scripting, filming, editing and publishing
• Support live shopping and social selling activity, including emerging platforms such as TikTok Shop
• Moderate and engage with online communities during selected live shows, ensuring conversations reflect QVC values and enhance the customer experience
• Work closely with internal teams including Broadcasting, Digital & Social Media, Platform Strategy,
• Merchandising and Planning to deliver content in line with briefs, timelines and business goals

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience creating and monetising social media content across multiple platforms, with strong knowledge of current and emerging channels including Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
• Experience producing content using iPhone technology and a broad understanding of video production for social media and live content
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to create compelling content that supports engagement and sales performance
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• A good understanding of TV production, social trends, and the QVC brand, with the agility to work at pace and adapt to new production techniques and platforms
