Job summary

Integrate Engineering Resources is seeking a Plater for an 8-week project on an industrial site in Lowestoft. You will undertake steelwork modifications and remedial works to existing tanks, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately and to specification.

Duties include cutting, shaping and repairing steel plate using oxyacetylene, setting out, marking, and fabricating plate, pipe and brackets. CCNSG card and NVQ3 in plating/fabrication are required, with prior tank experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CCNSG card is required for site access.
• NVQ 3 / City & Guilds in plating / fabrication.
• Experience in tank fabrication, maintenance or repair.

Responsibilities

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate.
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate.
• Repairing heat distorted steel plate.
• Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs.

Hours: 10-12 hr shifts, Mon-Sun

Shifts: 12 on 2 off

PAYE rates:

• Basic Days: £23.45/hr + Holiday Pay
• O/T 1: £32.83/hr
• O/T 2: £42.21/hr

The Role:
