Job summary

A recruitment agency in engineering is looking for Plater Fabricators for a short-term power station outage project near Cambridge. Candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks including using oxyacetylene burning equipment, setting out and marking steel plates, and performing MMA welding. Applicants must possess a CCNSG card and have experience working on industrial sites such as power stations or steelworks. Hours: 10hr shifts, Mon-Sun

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 3-4 weeks

PAYE Pay Rates:

Blue Book Grade 5:

£0.75/hr NAECI Cost of Living Bonus

£43.27/day lodge allowance / accommodation provided & Travel & Fare if over 40 miles from site

Or Radius Allowance if within 40 miles from site

The Role

Integrate Engineering Resources are recruiting for additional Plater Fabricators on behalf of our client for a power station outage near Cambridge to assist with boiler casing patch replacements. Duties will include:

• Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
• Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
• Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
• MMA welding on mild steel plate

Further work is available on sites nationwide to follow.
