Job summary

Cuisine Centre, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is hiring a Production Operative to prepare and assemble plated meals in a fast-paced environment. You will weigh ingredients, follow recipes, and help meet daily production targets while upholding quality, hygiene and safety standards.

You will complete documentation, work across shifts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Benefits include pension, wellbeing support, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong numeracy and literacy abilities for measurements and records.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Flexible and proactive approach to shift work and duties.
• Positive, can-do attitude and good team collaboration.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and quality standards.
• Experience in food production or raw materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble plated meals per production plans and recipes.
• Accurately weigh ingredients while maintaining GMP and food safety.
• Support daily production target achievement.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain hygiene by completing cleaning schedules and using proper chemicals.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH, and PPE requirements.
• Minimise waste and dispose of it per company procedures.
• Report quality or production issues to the Production Manager or QA Team.
• Work flexibly across production and contribute to improvements.
