Job summary

Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust invites applications for a Consultant to join a full-time post. A formal job plan will be agreed between the successful candidate, the Clinical Director, and consultant colleagues within three months of starting, covering clinical work, teaching, research, education and managerial duties.

The plan allocates 8.5 Programme Draws (PAs) of Direct Clinical Care and 1.5 SPAs per week, pro-rata for part-time posts, with optional additional SPAs to lead

• Role includes clinical, teaching, research, education and managerial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clinical work, teaching, research, education and managerial responsibilities as part of a Consultant role.
• Annual review of the job plan with the Clinical Director and consultant colleagues.
• Plan allocates 8.5 Programmed Activities (PAs) of Direct Clinical Care and 1.5 SPAs per week, pro-rata for part-time; a further SPA may be added for corporate functions.
