Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with expertise in Sarcoma, Breast Microsurgery and oncological reconstruction. The post collaborates with a team of surgeons, contributes to an established service, and participates in on-call duties, teaching and research activities across NUH’s three campuses in Nottingham.

The successful candidate will have FRCS (Plast) or equivalent, and fellowships in soft tissue sarcoma surgery and microsurgical

Qualifications

• FRCS (Plast) or equivalent required.
• Dedicated fellowship in soft tissue sarcoma surgery preferred.
• Dedicated fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery preferred.
• Higher professional qualification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of consultant plastic surgeons.
• Contribute to a comprehensive consultant-led plastic surgery service.
• Participate in the on-call rota, teaching programmes for undergraduates and postgraduates.
• Lead and participate in Sarcoma MDTs and multidisciplinary care pathways.
• Provide expert care in sarcoma, breast microsurgery and oncological reconstruction.
