18 Recruitment Limited is currently seeking a skilled Plasterer for social housing repairs and maintenance in the Wolverhampton area. This permanent position offers a company van, fuel card, and the opportunity to work with a busy repairs team across voids and occupied properties.

The ideal candidate will have proven plastering experience, strong knowledge of materials, and a meticulous approach to quality workmanship, with the ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service

Formación

• Proven experience as a plasterer in repairs and maintenance.
• Experience in social housing is highly desirable.
• Strong plastering techniques and materials knowledge.
• Ability to handle both reactive repairs and refurbishments.
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Own basic trade tools and a full UK driving licence.
• Clean DBS check and good customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out patch plastering and full-room re-skims in occupied and void properties.
• Repair damaged walls and ceilings after maintenance works.
• Apply bonding, hardwall, finishing plaster, and other plastering materials.
• Undertake rendering repairs to external walls where required.
• Carry out damp damage reinstatement works and ensure quality finish.

Are you an experienced Plasterer looking for a secure, long-term opportunity within the social housing sector? We are recruiting for a skilled and reliable plasterer to join a busy repairs and maintenance team delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and void property refurbishment works across social housing properties.

This is a permanent position offering a company van, fuel card, and the opportunity to work for a well-established organisation with a steady workload and excellent job security.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out patch plastering and full-room re-skims within occupied and void properties
• Repair damaged walls and ceilings following maintenance works
• Apply bonding, hardwall, finishing plaster, and other plastering materials
• Undertake rendering repairs to external walls where required
• Carry out damp damage reinstatement works
• Make good around kitchen, bathroom, electrical, and plumbing installations
• Repair cracks, holes, and damaged surfaces to a high standard
• Prepare surfaces prior to plastering works
• Complete minor decorating touch-ups and associated making-good works where required
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records
• Deliver excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plasterer within repairs and maintenance
• Experience working within social housing is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and materials
• Ability to carry out both small reactive repairs and larger refurbishment works
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Must possess own basic trade tools
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Clean DBS check
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
