Job summary

WPS, part of the Wates Group, is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our Responsive Maintenance team based in Walton-on-Thames, covering KT and TW postcodes.

You will perform plastering repairs, skimming, patching, rendering, and renewal works, ensuring a high finish and durability while working independently or with colleagues. DBS checks apply at offer stage, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or similar qualification is required.
• Proven domestic plastering experience in maintenance or repair contexts.
• Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship consistently.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out plastering repairs, skimming, patching, rendering and renewal works across properties.
• Ensure plastering work is finished to a high standard and durable.
• Advise Supervisor when additional specialist trades are needed.
• Work independently or as part of a team with other operatives.
• Complete daily worksheets detailing tasks, time and materials used.
• Maintain productivity and timely completion of tasks.
