Job summary

ITS Property Maintenance is seeking an experienced Plasterer Multi-Trader to join our busy social housing maintenance team in the Saffron Walden area. The role covers CB10, CB11, CM22, CM23 and CM24, with duties ranging from patching and boarding to multi-trade repairs in occupied properties.

You should have strong customer service skills, a Full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently. A van would be preferred, but mileage is paid, and a company van with fuel card may be

Responsibilities

• Complete patch work up to board and skim, renewals and installations in occupied properties.

• Log works and complete daily job sheets; maintain safety and quality.

Based out of Saffron Walden (CB11 4LH)

Long-term temp role | Social Housing Maintenance

Covering a geographical area covering CB10, CB11, CM22, CM23, and CM24

Own van would be the preference, but business mileage will be paid weekly

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Plasterer Multi-Trader to join a busy social housing maintenance team working across properties in CB10, CB11, CM22, CM23, and CM24. This is a long-term temporary position carrying out a mixture of day-to-day repairs, some planned works, and general maintenance within occupied properties.

The ideal candidate will be a strong Plasterer with reliable multi-trade skills and the ability to work independently, delivering high-quality repairs to a good standard. They should also have thermal boarding experience and ideally additional skills in carpentry or plumbing.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing minor patch work through to full board and skim, renewals and installations in occupied properties
• You could also be undertaking multi-trade works including:
• Tiling (splashbacks)
• Painting & decorating
• General domestic repairs
• Working towards a first-time fix wherever possible
• Planning and managing your own daily workload to meet contract SLAs
• Logging works accurately and completing daily job sheets
• Ensuring all work meets high standards of safety and quality
• Providing a professional, respectful service to tenants
• Reporting any additional or follow-on works required
• Maintaining van stock, equipment and materials
• Working independently or as part of a team when required

Essential Criteria

• Experience working in occupied residential settings
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport (Mileage will be paid)
• Ability to work independently across a dispersed housing patch

Desirable Criteria

• Previous social housing repairs experience
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plastering or time-served equivalent
• Experience using a PDA's of job sheets
• Understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance environments
• Knowledge of SOR codes would be helpful but not initial
