Job summary

Together Housing Group seeks a skilled Plasterer to join our Responsive Repairs team covering the Pendle district, including Colne, Brierfield, Nelson and Barnoldswick. You will perform plastering repairs to tenanted properties, aiming for first-time-right completion in a single visit where possible, with high‑quality workmanship and a strong customer care focus.

A full manual UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving license.
• City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in plastering or NVQ Level2 or higher (Desirable).
• Experience in all disciplines normally expected of a qualified plasterer.
• Commitment to providing a productive, high quality and reliable service.
• Literacy and numeracy skills sufficient to accurately complete job tickets and timesheets.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and how it impacts building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs to tenanted properties in line with job tickets, specs and contract drawings.
• Aim for Right First Time by completing repairs in one visit where practicable.
• Keep required records (paper or electronic).
• Measure, quantify and procure materials as needed.
• Protect tenants’ furnishings, maintain customer care, and liaise with customers.
• Conduct risk assessments prior to starting work and ensure health and safety for all.
