Salary: £35,266 - £37,122

This role
We are recruiting an experienced multi-skilled Plasterer, ideally with social housing or local authority experience. Your responsibilities include plastering and trade repairs to deliver high-quality, cost-effective building services, ensuring first-time right work for our customers.
To qualify, you must have the ability to perform trade tasks within your competency, hold an NVQ2 qualification or equivalent, and have relevant trade experience. Skills in plaster boarding, skimming/bonding, and external rendering are essential; basic carpentry or other trade skills are a plus.
Preferred qualifications include Abrasive Wheel training, PASMA certification, and the ability to read construction drawings.
You will work in compliance with legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, and safe systems of work, minimizing property damage.

You need a full manual UK driving license; a company van will be provided for working hours.
To ensure safety and quality, we will conduct a DBS background check after an employment offer, paid for by MTVH. You will be enrolled in the DBS updating service, renewed every three years.
Note: Salaries are reviewed annually; the current salary may change in the 2025 review.
