Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting for a Plasterer - Reactive Maintenance in Cannock. The role offers ongoing temp-perm work across Cannock and surrounding areas, with a focus on social housing reactive plastering and making-good tasks in occupied properties.

The ideal candidate will have proven plastering skills, experience with reactive maintenance, and a professional, reliable approach. Own van is desirable; weekly pay and CIS payments are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Plasterer
• Experience carrying out reactive maintenance and property repairs
• Experience working within social housing or occupied properties
• Strong plastering and making-good skills
• Basic multi-trade experience
• NVQ or equivalent qualification in Plastering (desirable)
• Own van preferred
• Professional and reliable approach to work

Responsibilities

• Carrying out plastering repairs and general maintenance works
• Completing patch plastering, skimming and making good
• Repairing damaged walls and ceilings
• Making good following plumbing, electrical and other maintenance works
• Completing reactive repairs within occupied and tenanted properties
• Carrying out minor multi-trade tasks where required
• Delivering high-quality workmanship across social housing properties
• Working professionally within customers' homes

Plasterer - Reactive Maintenance - Cannock

You'll be working for a respected housing contractor known for delivering long-term contracts and maintaining a positive working environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Plasterer looking for stable work and ongoing projects within the social housing and property maintenance sector.

I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Plasterer, Multi Trade Operative, Multi Skilled Operative, Property Maintenance Operative, or in a similar construction or maintenance role.

As a Plasterer you will be:

• Carrying out plastering repairs and general maintenance works
• Completing patch plastering, skimming and making good
• Repairing damaged walls and ceilings
• Making good following plumbing, electrical and other maintenance works
• Completing reactive repairs within occupied and tenanted properties
• Carrying out minor multi-trade tasks where required

Location & travel

Based across Cannock and the surrounding areas, this role will involve travelling between properties to complete reactive maintenance and plastering repairs. A reliable vehicle and the ability to travel between jobs is desirable.
