Job summary

Niyaa People is looking for an experienced Plasterer to deliver reactive maintenance across Cannock and surrounding areas. The role involves plastering repairs, patching, skimming and making good in occupied properties, working on social housing contracts, and performing light multi-trade tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates will have strong plastering and making-good skills, with experience in reactive maintenance within social housing.

• Experience in social housing or occupied properties.
• Own van is required.

Plasterer – Reactive Maintenance – Cannock

You'll be working for a respected housing contractor known for delivering long-term contracts and maintaining a positive working environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Plasterer looking for stable work and ongoing projects within the social housing and property maintenance sector.

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Plasterer, Multi Trade Operative, Multi Skilled Operative, Property Maintenance Operative, or in a similar construction or maintenance role.

As a Plasterer you will be:

• Carrying out plastering repairs and general maintenance works


• Completing patch plastering, skimming and making good


• Repairing damaged walls and ceilings


• Making good following plumbing, electrical and other maintenance works


• Completing reactive repairs within occupied and tenanted properties


• Carrying out minor multi-trade tasks where required

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• Previous experience working as a Plasterer


• Experience carrying out reactive maintenance and property repairs


• Experience working within social housing or occupied properties


• Strong plastering and making-good skills


• Basic multi-trade experience


• An NVQ or equivalent qualification in Plastering or a relevant trade (desirable)


• Own Van Needed


• A professional and reliable approach to work

Location & travel

Based across Cannock and the surrounding areas, this role will involve travelling between properties to complete reactive maintenance and plastering repairs. A reliable vehicle and the ability to travel between jobs is desirable.
