Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead the Plant Department in Fleet. The role splits roughly 50% hands-on technical work with 50% supervisory duties, guiding a team of technicians and apprentices to maintain equipment and output.

You will ensure safe, efficient operations, drive workshop standards, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with other departments to maximise plant availability.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a workshop/plant team.
• Hands-on role with a 50/50 split between workshop work and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of plant maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technicians and apprentices.
• Organise daily workshop workloads and priorities.
• Hands-on support with repairs, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to high standards.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and fitters.
