Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer/Plant Fitter to support servicing, maintenance and repairs across construction plant machinery. The role offers a company van, ongoing manufacturer training and the chance to progress within a growing group.

You will carry out routine servicing, fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, and attend breakdowns with a focus on efficient repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, maintenance and repairs on construction plant machinery.
• Strong fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Able to work independently and manage own workload.

What we're looking for:

• Experience working on construction plant or similar machinery such as agricultural equipment, forklifts, lifting equipment or heavy vehicles
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Customer-focused approach with good communication skills
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge
• Full UK driving licence
