Plant Supervisor

Location: Swindon

Shift: Days / Rotating Days

Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP37,000

We are seeking a motivated Plant Supervisor to join a global manufacturing company at their new manufacturing site in the UK. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production facility. This position is ideal for a strong candidate looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.

Role Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your own health and safety, as well as that of visitors and contractors on site.
• Promote and adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Ensure accurate production of DSM products.
• Ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock checks.
• Manage drivers, visitors, and contractors on site, projecting a professional image and ensuring compliance with site rules.
• Report any defects.
• Collaborate with management and contractors to coordinate plant maintenance as needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping and implement site improvements.
• Follow environmental policies and procedures (ISO 14001) and keep records up to date. Responsible for servicing and refurbishing silos.
