E.ON UK is seeking an experienced plant operations professional to ensure safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient operation of its CHP plant in Kemsley. You will work with the on-site team to deliver uptime, reliability and KPI targets while coordinating with the maintenance group and client.

The role requires practical experience across process, electrical, C&I and mechanical disciplines, with a focus on safety, compliance and proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Substantial practical experience in process, electrical, C&I or mechanical roles.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental management frameworks and legislation.
• IOSH (Managing Safely) or equivalent qualification.
• Working knowledge of key PC-based computer systems.

Responsabilités

• Deliver availability and reliability through investigations of fault conditions and incidents to meet KPI targets.
• Promote a culture of health, safety and environmental awareness.
• Implement effective work control through coordination with the site maintenance team and safety rules.
• Prioritise workload and resource utilization to maximise efficiency.
• Provide first line maintenance and fault diagnosis, escalating when needed.
• Support maintenance during technical projects and planned/reactive maintenance activities.
• Contribute to the site Health & Safety plan and ensure objectives are met.
• Liaise with client to maintain contractual obligations and foster good relations.
