Plant Sales Coordinator sought by my engineering client based in Brighton.
Job Purpose:

To assist and support the sales team in preparation and submission of quotations, orders, and reports. Liaising with subsidiary plant teams and manufacturers as required.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm

Salary:

Circa £25,000 – £27,000, which will increase over time with experience in role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Sales Managers in building new and existing client leads, updating spreadsheets.
  2. Prepare plant offers against company requirements.
  3. Ensure all customer queries are handled quickly and efficiently, including monitoring and managing the company website enquiries and passing them on to relevant departments.
  4. Utilise supplier online databases for pricing and technical assistance to complete offers.
  5. Obtain freight rates from external freight companies, supplier logistic departments, and via our own logistics team.
  6. Process and place orders.
  7. Keep data sheets, presentations, and sales documentation up-to-date.
  8. Collate data from Sales Engineers.
  9. Attend weekly/monthly sales meetings to review reports.
Additional Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
  • Excellent customer handling skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team.
