Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is seeking a Plant Operator to assist in the safe operation of the Anaerobic Digestion plant. The role involves handling intake, sorting and loading of food waste, plus supporting routine checks and maintenance.

It requires adherence to HSE regulations and a strong emphasis on housekeeping and safety. The ideal candidate may have relevant experience, a driving licence, and possibly a Telehandler certificate.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates commitment to health and safety guidelines.
• Preferably holds a driving licence.
• Telehandler training or certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake, sorting and loading of food waste on site.
• Support routine checks and maintenance activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness on site.
• Follow health, safety and regulatory requirements (HSE, Environment Agency).
