Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm in the UK is seeking a Plant Operator for an anaerobic digestion facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in anaerobic digestion, knowledge of SCADA or DCS systems, and Telehandler operation skills.   • Use mobile plant for process fuel feeding.
  • Respond to machinery failures.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and safety.
  • Participate in on-call rota.

Job description

Permanent Plant Operator in an anaerobic digestion facility.

We're looking for someone with experience working in Anaerobic Digestion or a similar processing environment. The right candidate will be able to drive a Telehandler/front loader and have prior SCADA or DCS experience.

As the Plant Operator, you will be responsible for;

  • Carrying out day to day operations of the anaerobic digestion plant.

  • Use the SCADA control systems to monitor the process.

  • Carrying out front line maintenance, such as greasing, unblocking pumps and oil changes etc

  • Feeding fuel into the process using mobile plant such as a telehandler.

  • Responding to machine and systems failures

  • General site housekeeping, keeping it clean and tidy.

  • Ensuring adherence with health & safety.

  • Be part of a call out rota

Requirements;

  • Knowledge of SCADA/DCS/GMI systems

  • Telehandler experience
