Job summary

Murphy, a leading international engineering and construction company, is seeking a hands-on operative in Inverness to clean and valeting plant equipment, and operate pressure washers. The role offers growth opportunities and a safety-focused environment within a supportive team.

Successful candidates will log work on a company handset and work to deadlines, with CSCS preferred and on-site duties at sites across Scotland. A positive, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS card preferred or provided.
• Willingness to work with plant equipment and adhere to safety policies.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic IT to log work on company handset.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and valeting plant equipment.
• Operate pressure washers.
• Weekly yard inspections.
• Support other operatives as needed.

What you will be doing

• Main responsibilities will be cleaning and valeting our plant equipment.
• Opportunity for an individual to gain experience in construction and progress.
• Pressure washer operations.
• Weekly Yard inspections.

What we need from you:

• CSCS card – Advantageous can be provided
• Plant and Vehicle Marshall - advantageous
• Work safely and stick to company polices
• Work to and can meet strict deadlines
• Happy to use own initiative
• Basic IT knowledge to be able to log all work though company handset.
• Willingness to help out when required with other operatives.
