Job summary

Murphy is seeking a Service Technician to join our engineering team in Hemel Hempstead. You will carry out scheduled service inspections, servicing and repairs to machinery and equipment in line with manufacturers’ specs and Murphy procedures.

A full UK driving licence, CSCS, and NVQ3-equivalent knowledge are required, with in-house Murphy training provided. You will work in a safe workshop, record data on the Syrinx App, and contribute to a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge that would be acquired through education to NVQ3 equivalent.
• CSCS
• Preferably experience in similar role
• Full UK driving licence (Essential)
• Commitment to Murphy training requirements

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled service inspections, servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturers specifications.
• Conduct regular servicing on machinery, plant and equipment as assigned to you.
• Diagnose and repair of complex faults in machinery, plant and equipment.
• Conduct repairs to machinery, plant and equipment, and their components.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop and environment
• Record information digitally, including photographs on Syrinx App
• Carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company’s Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures.
• Happy to work under your own initiative and has part of a team
