Qualifications

• Technical diploma, vocational training, or equivalent certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial plant operations.
• Proven experience as Plant Operator or similar roles in infrastructure, construction, or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of industrial machinery, mechanical systems and safety protocols.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and process flow diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and physical stamina for manual tasks and varied environments.
• Effective communication and commitment to team safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control plant machinery and auxiliary systems safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant systems.
• Perform start-up and shut-down procedures according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain logs of plant operations, readings, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations and report hazards.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and optimise performance.

The successful candidate will ensure all operations run safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with industry standards to support our ongoing infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control plant machinery, equipment, and auxiliary systems in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular inspections, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant systems to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for plant equipment in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs of plant operations, including gauge readings, fluid levels, temperatures, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and optimize plant performance.

Job Qualifications
