Job summary

UNILIN Insulation in Chesterfield is seeking an Operations Manager to lead Production, Technical Process and Maintenance, driving continuous improvement and world-class performance. You will coach multi-disciplinary teams, align with site and group objectives, and ensure customer requirements are met, while maintaining ISO standards.

The role emphasizes proactive leadership, KPI-driven decisions and effective stakeholder management across the site and with group counterparts.

Qualifications

Engineering/Manufacturing degree or equivalent with relevant experience.
Minimum 5+ years as Production/Engineering Manager in manufacturing.
Proven experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Strong KPI management and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee production, technical and maintenance operations to meet customer requirements.
Drive continuous improvement and CI initiatives across the site.
Ensure ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance and safety standards.
Develop and mentor multi-disciplinary teams and successors.
Monitor KPIs, costs, quality and throughput to optimise OEE.
