Tradeline Recruitment is seeking a proactive Plant Service Coordinator to join a busy Plant Department in a civils contractor. You will coordinate maintenance, servicing, repairs and inspections of plant, vehicles and equipment to keep site operations moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, coordination or operational support role.
• Experience within plant, fleet, engineering, maintenance or plant hire.
• Understanding of plant machinery, repair processes and inspection requirements.
• Strong organisational, communication and IT skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
• Proactive, dependable with commercial awareness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant, vehicle and equipment breakdowns, repairs and planned maintenance.
• Support planning and prioritisation of fitter and fabricator workloads.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and service providers to arrange repairs, servicing and parts.
• Monitor outstanding jobs, chase progress and keep relevant teams updated.
• Coordinate statutory inspections, testing, certification and maintenance records.
• Assist with quotations, purchase orders, invoices and warranty claims.
• Help ensure plant and equipment is available for site operations, reducing external hire.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve efficiency and value for money.
