Job summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and assessment aligned to plant operations apprenticeship standards.
• Manage an individual caseload of apprentices, including reviews and feedback.
• Conduct on-site and workplace assessments of learners' practical skills.
• Support apprentices through onboarding, Gateway and End-Point Assessment.
• Maintain accurate assessment records and update learner tracking systems.
• Liaise with employers to coordinate assessment visits and monitor progress.

Plant Operations Coach

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000

Are you an experienced plant operations professional looking to share your skills and inspire the next generation of operators?

About the Role

You'll join an education provider to deliver high-quality training and support to apprentices on plant operations programmes, guiding them from induction through to successful completion. You'll manage your own caseload, carrying out workplace assessments and progress reviews, and work closely with employers to ensure every learner receives the guidance and feedback they need to progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering training and assessment aligned to plant operations apprenticeship standards.
• Managing an individual caseload of apprentices, including reviews, feedback and tracking progress toward completion.
• Conducting on-site and workplace assessments of learners' practical skills and occupational competence.
• Supporting apprentices through their full journey, from onboarding to Gateway and End-Point Assessment.
• Maintaining accurate assessment records and updating learner tracking systems.
• Liaising with employers to coordinate assessment visits and monitor workplace progress.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Industry experience in plant operations
• Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent)
• A full UK driving licence
