Job summary

Natural Power is seeking a Plant Mechanical Engineer to join the Geotechnical Construction team in St John's Town of Dalry. This role focuses on keeping specialist machinery running and supporting renewable projects across the UK.

The position offers a 40-hour week with site-based and workshop activities. You will carry out maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, participate in fabrication support, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and/or electrical experience with plant or machinery.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• A proactive, hands-on team player.
• Full UK driving licence; trailer licence an advantage.
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of plant and equipment
• Support bespoke fabrication projects in the workshop
• Maintain accurate service records and develop maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
• Travel to site locations to carry out field-based repairs when required

What You'll Do
