Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to support the Site Manager in the safe operation of the site, maintain the PPM system, and coordinate planned downtime for cost-effective overhauls. The role requires an electrical or mechanical engineering background with experience in process industries, and a valid UK driving licence.

The position operates on a 42-hour weekly rota with weekend shifts and remote monitoring.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering or have relevant experience.
• Experience with PLC controls or electronics is advantageous.
• In-house WAMITAB competency standards and NEBOSH general certificate preferred if not held.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager with safe operation of the site.
• Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
• Plan and coordinate down times for major equipment overhauls.
• Operate telehandler and drive a shift pattern including weekends on a rota.
