Job summary

NEO2 in Bristol is seeking a Plant Layout Designer / CAD Technician to contribute to major EPC projects, including Hinkley Point C. You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team and support the electrical installation design for nuclear facilities, using AVEVA E3D to route cables and define layouts.

Your profile should include an engineering degree or equivalent, 2+ years in CAD and 3D modelling, and fluency in English. French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent and CAD experience.
• 2+ years of CAD design and 3D modelling.
• Experience with AVEVA E3D/PDMS is required.
• Knowledge of cable routing and industrial/nuclear projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Route cables and define cable tray layouts in AVEVA E3D.
• Develop 3D cable tray models from routing to detail.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for system integration.
• Design cable tray supports per project requirements.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team based in Bristol on HPC/Sizewell C.
