Energy Jobline CVL seeks an experienced Plant Manager for a leading residential groundworks contractor in Grantham. You will oversee the plant fleet, coordinate movements across multiple sites, and ensure maintenance, compliance and cost efficiency to meet project demands.

The role requires strong organisational skills, knowledge of construction plant and a proactive approach to reduce downtime and optimize fleet utilisation across housing developments.

Qualificações

• Experience in plant management or coordination in groundworks/construction.
• Knowledge of construction plant and maintenance requirements.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and cost-control abilities.
• Experience maintaining records and using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple site teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the plant fleet including excavators, dumpers, rollers.
• Coordinate plant allocation and movements across sites.
• Arrange servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Liaise with site teams, suppliers and maintenance providers.
• Monitor plant utilisation, availability and operating costs.
• Manage plant hire agreements and equipment returns.
• Maintain plant registers and service records.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and inspections.
• Coordinate repairs to minimise downtime.
• Support procurement decisions for plant purchases and replacements.
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
