Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Plant Fitter (Workshop) in Walsall to service, maintain and repair heavy plant equipment. You will conduct LOLER inspections, line boring and PAT testing, within a structured workshop environment.

The role offers Monday to Friday 7:00am–4:30pm, with optional overtime paid at 1.5x, training and external courses to support progression into leadership within two years.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment.
• Ability to perform LOLER inspections and PAT testing.
• Willingness to undergo further training and certification as required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification desired.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment.

Are you a Plant Fitter, looking to join a thriving company who will value your career, allowing you to gain your NVQ Level 3, CSCS card and specialist Electrical training?

In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, repairing and fault finding of Heavy plant equipment. You will be conducting LOLER inspections, line boring and PAT testing.

Established in 2017, this company have risen to the top of their industry by growing their engineering team to over 40 employees. They are looking to bring in a Plant Fitter to support their high-quality work and continue their growth.

This role would suit a Plant Fitter, looking for specialist training, external funded courses and progression opportunities to upskill your career.

The Role:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment
• PAT testing, line boring and LOLER inspections
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
• Optional overtime, paid at 1.5x
