Job summary

MSS Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Plant Fitter to support operations across BBV project sites, with the main depot based in Kingsbury. The role focuses on inspecting, servicing and repairing heavy plant machinery to keep sites running safely and efficiently.

You will diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance, document inspections and work across multiple Midlands locations with a CSCS card and strong safety awareness as essential requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.
• Up-to-date CV showing extensive plant fitting experience.
• Proven experience servicing and repairing heavy plant machinery.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage maintenance tasks.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety requirements.
• Willingness to work across multiple BBV project locations.

Plant Fitter - HS2

Location: All Midlands Sites
Main Depot: Kingsbury
Duration: Ongoing Work

£36.00 per hour PAYE

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and maintain a range of heavy plant machinery and construction equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.

• Undertake routine preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.

• Identify defects and report any machinery requiring further attention.

• Carry out mechanical repairs and component replacements where necessary.

• Complete machinery inspections and maintenance records.

• Ensure all plant and equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requirements across BBV sites.
