Job summary

Berry Recruitment is seeking an experienced Plant Fitter to join a team in the Truro region. You will work on heavy mobile plant equipment, including excavators, dumpers and rollers, carrying out maintenance, repairs and fittings as required.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently on heavy plant machinery. Typical hours are 08:00 to 17:00, with a company van provided to support on-site tasks.

• Proven experience on heavy plant equipment including excavators, dumpers and rollers.
• Must be able to carry out maintenance, repairs, servicing and fitting work on mobile plant.

Job description

We are currently looking for experienced Plant Fitters to join a team located in the Truro area.

The successfully candidate will have proven experience working on and fitting heavy plant equipment, including excavators, dumpers and rollers. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, servicing and fitting work on a range of mobile plant equipment as required.

We are looking for someone who is experienced and confident working independently on heavy plant machinery. Previous experience as a plant fitter, mobile plant engineer or similar role is essential.

Location: Truro region

Rate: £18 per hour

Hours: Typically 08:00 - 17:00
