Job summary

Eaton Syalon Ltd is recruiting a Senior Plant Financial Controller for our Warrington site. The role sits on the Plant Management Team and reports to the Plant Director with a dotted line to UK Finance & IT Director.

You will oversee financial control, manufacturing finance and cost management to drive profitability and ensure robust financial insight across operations and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA) with manufacturing finance experience.
• Expert SAP knowledge and proficient SAP key user.
• Strong interpersonal skills across levels and functions.
• Commercial awareness with strong cost control and profitability focus.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor site budget in collaboration with BU Finance and site management.
• Lead month-end close, rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
• Oversee cost control, productivity actions and production cost accuracy.
• Coordinate accounting, compliance and audits for the site.
• Lead IT and information systems budget and governance.
• Develop and coach Finance team; manage workload and recruitment.
