Job summary

Avery Dennison in Cramlington seeks a finance analyst to provide analytical support for Plant Productivity, drive loss reporting, and assist with inventory and capital reporting. You will help maintain budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes in a multinational environment.

The role requires degree-level education with professional qualifications (CIMA/ICAEW) and 1–3 years post-qualification experience, with advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ICAEW).
• 1-3 years post-qualification experience in industry (preferably manufacturing) or a blue-chip accounting firm.
• Advanced user of Excel and Google Sheets with the ability to work in a fast-paced Finance environment within a multinational organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical financial support for Plant Productivity; drive loss reporting and variances; assist inventory and capital reporting.
• Support completion of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for MOE, losses, and SG&A, and deliver quarterly forecasts.
• Complete month-end reporting, including losses, inventory adjustments, tracking savings, manpower reporting, and bonus accruals.
• Maintain strict financial controls, ensuring SOX compliance as Process Owner for Inventory Controls; monitor cycle count accuracy.
• Support Plant Controller in process improvements in operations finance; collaborate with SSC/Accenture; support BI initiatives.
