Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an analytical finance professional for the Cramlington plant to support budgeting, forecasting and reporting. The role involves ensuring cost control and robust financial processes on-site with potential hybrid flexibility.

You will drive variance analysis, support AOP, and collaborate with global finance teams to improve operational finance and reporting quality.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ICAEW).
• 1-3 years post-qualification experience in industry (preferably manufacturing) or a blue-chip accounting firm.
• Advanced user of Excel and Google Sheets with the ability to work in a fast-paced Finance environment within a multinational organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical financial support for plant productivity, drive loss reporting, and assist with inventory management and capital reporting.
• Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for MOE, losses, SG&A and quarterly forecasts.
• Complete month-end reporting, account for losses and inventory adjustments, track savings and bonuses.
• Maintain strict financial controls and SOX compliance as Process Owner for Inventory Controls.
