Job summary

Avery Dennison in the UK is seeking an analytically minded finance professional to support the Supply Chain & Operations at the Cramlington plant. You will help maintain budgets, forecasts, and reporting processes to control costs and drive improvements for the plant.

The role is on-site with hybrid work options, requiring strong Excel and Google Sheets skills and 1–3 years post-qualification experience in manufacturing. A degree plus CIMA/ICAEW is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree level with professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ICAEW).
• 1–3 years post-qualification experience in manufacturing or blue-chip accounting.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills for a fast-paced finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical financial support for Plant Productivity, drive loss reporting and variances.
• Support Annual Operating Plan for MOE, losses, and S&G&A, plus quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare month-end reporting, track savings, and manage bonus accruals.
• Maintain SOX controls as Process Owner for Inventory, monitor cycle counts.
• Assist Plant Controller in process improvements with BI and continuous improvement.
