Job summary

Hiregiant (South West) Ltd in Avonmouth, Bristol, is seeking a Field Service Engineer. You will carry out routine maintenance and breakdowns on crushers and screeners, with site visits across the Southwest and UK. An engineering background and experience with diagnostic tools are required.

We offer an £18–£20 per hour rate, 40-hour weeks, and overtime paid at time and a half. Benefits include training, vehicle, phone, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Strong background in Plant industry essential.
NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
CSCS card holder preferred.
Experience with diagnostic tools and engine diagnostics.
Willingness to travel outside the UK for training.
Attention to detail and conscientiousness.

Responsibilities

Routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery.
Warranty repairs.
Damage repairs.
Site visits across the country.
Clear and detailed reporting of work on iPad.
Manage above to ensure 100% recovery.
Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects.
Good communication with customers and staff.
