Job summary

Hiregiant (South West) Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a friendly team in Avonmouth, Bristol. The role covers the Southwest region with a focus on crushers and screeners, performing routine maintenance, breakdown repairs and warranty work.

The position offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities. A relevant plant maintenance background and UK travel capability are essential; training and progression are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with experience in the plant industry.
• NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel outside of the UK for training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Warranty and damage repairs.
• Site visits across the Southwest and beyond.
• Provide clear reporting on iPad and repairs needed.
• Maintain company vehicle and report defects.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
