Job summary

Hiregiant is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Avonmouth, Bristol, to join a busy service team. The role involves maintenance, breakdown repairs and site visits across the Southwest region, with 100% issue recovery and detailed reporting on an iPad.

Expect an 18–20 GBP hourly rate, Monday–Friday with optional overtime, and full in-house training plus tools and company vehicle. NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance and CSCS are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent is required.
• CSCS card holder is preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and engine diagnostics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery.
• Perform warranty and damage repairs.
• Visit sites across the Southwest region and occasionally beyond.
• Provide clear reports on work performed using company iPad.
• Ensure timely completion and 100% recovery of issues.
• Maintain company vehicle and report defects, liaise with customers.
