Job summary

Klondyke Garden Centres Garforth is seeking part-time, temporary Retail Assistants to join the team. Roles offer 31.25 hours or 23.25 hours per week over 3 days, with regular weekend shifts and a temporary contract until April 2027.

You will deliver excellent customer service, manage tills, restock shelves, and maintain engaging product displays to enhance the shopping experience. Experience in garden centre products is helpful but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
• Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Till operation and serving customers.
• Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments.
• Creating and maintaining product displays.
• Assist customers across the Centre taking opportunities to WOW.
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist customers with carrying purchases to their cars.
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets.
