Job summary

Johnsons Workwear is seeking a Plant Engineer to maintain plant, buildings and equipment across the site, ensuring reliability and safety. You will respond to breakdowns, perform planned maintenance, and support site operations with a focus on minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of plant and facilities.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with safety standards and ISO 9001/ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

• Attending to mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building-related issues as they arise.
• Carrying out safety checks and statutory testing as required.
• Starting up and shutting down processing plant, equipment, and facilities safely and efficiently.
• Delivering a planned preventative maintenance programme to ensure optimum equipment performance and minimal downtime.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities where required.
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to support site operations.
