JDR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator for a busy waste management site in the United Kingdom. This temp-to-perm role offers secure, long-term employment with stable hours and progression potential.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid telehandler or forklift certificate (RTITB, CPCS, or NPORS) and have a strong commitment to health and safety. Training and development opportunities are available, with overtime and weekly pay.

Formación

• Valid or in-house Fork Lift or Telehandler licence (RTITB, CPCS, or NPORS).
• Experience operating a telehandler is ideal, otherwise forklift operators will be considered.
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic.

Responsabilidades

• Load, unload, and move waste materials and recyclables.
• Feed waste into processing machinery as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Telehandler Operator on a temporary to permanent basis to join a busy and growing waste management operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual looking for long-term, stable employment within the waste and recycling sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently on site
• Loading, unloading, and moving waste materials and recyclables
• Feeding waste into processing machinery as required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Adhering to all site health, safety, and environmental procedures

Requirements:

• Valid or In-house Certificate Fork Lift or Telehandler licence (RTITB, CPCS, or NPORS)
• Previous experience operating a telehandler, is ideal, however experienced Fork Lift Operators to be considered!
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
