British Garden Centres is seeking a Garden Centre Team Leader - Plants in Chilton to oversee the plants department, drive sales, and manage a small team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead on customer service, stock control and displays while training colleagues and ensuring safe, compliant operations on-site.

A passion for plants and horticulture is essential, with hands-on leadership and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of plant knowledge and horticulture experience.
• Hands-on retail experience preferred.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Plants team to deliver excellent customer care.
• Ensure displays, stock and seasonal ranges are well maintained.
• Participate in hands-on operations and support overall Centre performance.
