Ambius Canada Corporation is hiring a Plant Care Specialist to maintain exterior plant displays, perform routine care, and assist with new installations. Responsibilities

• Plant Care and Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance of exterior plants including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control. Inspect plants for signs of disease or pests and take appropriate action. Ensure all plants are properly trimmed and maintained to enhance their health and aesthetic appeal.
• Installation and Landscaping: Assist in the planning and installation of new plantings and landscaping projects. Prepare soil and planting beds, including the removal of weeds and debris. Plant new flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery as required.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Provide clients with plant care advice and recommendations. Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• 1 to 2 years experience in customer service, landscape, contruction, and/or greenhouses
• Ability to work four 10 hour shifts either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday with some evenings and weekends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively on a team
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand and/or walk for long periods of time
• Comfortable working on ladders/heights
• Strong attention to detail and enjoy hands on work
• Strong time management and organizational skills
