Ambius Canada Corporation is seeking a Plant Care Specialist to maintain exterior plantings, assist with installations, and deliver client-focused service. You will work four 10-hour shifts, including some evenings and weekends, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 1–2 years in customer service or landscape-related roles, with a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service, landscape, construction or greenhouse settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsabilités

• Perform regular maintenance of exterior plants including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control.
• Inspect plants for signs of disease or pests and take appropriate action.
• Ensure all plants are properly trimmed and maintained to enhance health and aesthetics.
• Assist in planning and installation of new plantings and landscaping projects.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide plant care advice.

Plant Care and Maintenance:

• Perform regular maintenance of exterior plants including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control.
• Inspect plants for signs of disease or pests and take appropriate action.
• Ensure all plants are properly trimmed and maintained to enhance their health and aesthetic appeal.

Installation and Landscaping:

• Assist in the planning and installation of new plantings and landscaping projects.
• Prepare soil and planting beds, including the removal of weeds and debris.
• Plant new flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery as required.

Client Interaction:

• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Provide clients with plant care advice and recommendations.
• Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

What do you need?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• 1 to 2 years experience in customer service, landscape, contruction, and/or greenhouses
• Ability to work four 10 hour shifts either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday with some evenings and weekends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively on a team
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand and/or walk for long periods of time
• Comfortable working on ladders/heights
• Strong attention to detail and enjoy hands on work
• Strong time management and organizational skills
