Planning Partner Opportunity at a Leading National Law Firm

Key Responsibilities

1. Hit the ground running and oversee a team of talented planning lawyers, ensuring their growth and development.
2. Provide expert guidance on a wide range of planning matters, including residential and commercial developments in both private and public sectors.
3. Develop and execute strategic plans to deliver high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
4. Collaborate closely with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
5. Work closely with the partnership, especially the real estate team.
6. Prepare a strategic business plan as part of the recruitment process, outlining growth strategies for the planning team.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with at least ten years PQE and a strong background in planning law across private and public sectors.
• Ideally, a current partner in a law firm seeking the next challenge.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to inspire and manage teams across multiple locations.
• Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a commitment to high ethical standards.
• Technically proficient in planning, highways, and environmental law.
