Leicestershire County Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planning Lawyer to join its supportive and well‑established Environment & Property legal team at County Hall, Glenfield. You will advise on complex planning and highway matters and help shape growth and infrastructure across the county.

The role requires a qualified solicitor or equivalent with strong planning law knowledge, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to deliver practical, timely

Competenze

• Qualified lawyer with planning and development expertise.
• Experience advising at senior officer or elected Member level.
• Up-to-date knowledge of planning law and practice, including section 106 obligations.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Mansioni

• Provide specialist planning and highways legal advice to the Council.
• Attend planning committees and advise on major proposals and enforcement matters.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on section 106 planning obligations and undertakings.
• Support complex negotiations and deliver practical, client-focused guidance.
