Addleshaw Goddard LLP's Planning & Infrastructure Consenting team is seeking an Associate or Managing Associate to lead workstreams on major development, energy, transport and utility projects from Leeds or Manchester.

The role offers exposure to high-profile clients and national projects, with opportunities to supervise juniors, develop client relationships and progress into senior leadership within the practice.

Formación

• Between 4 and 8 years' PQE in Planning & Infrastructure Consenting law.
• Experience advising on Development Consent Orders (DCOs), Transport and Works Act Orders (TWAOs) and other major infrastructure regimes.
• Ability to manage substantial drafting and advisory responsibilities on complex matters.
• Experience advising on protective provisions, asset protection agreements, access arrangements, regulatory interfaces affecting infrastructure operators.
• Strong understanding of local government law, statutory powers, and public authority decision-making processes.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and projects, delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead key workstreams and projects within the Planning & Infrastructure Consenting team.
• Supervise junior team members and contribute to client development and external market profile.
• Advise on planning, infrastructure and highways law in relation to major development, energy, transport and utilities projects.
• Support and, where appropriate, lead workstreams on DCOs and other strategic consenting regimes.
• Advise on compulsory purchase, land assembly, and related implementation matters.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and progression of matters, including transaction management.
