Job summary

Foot Anstey LLP is seeking a proactive entrant to join its Planning and Environmental Team. You will assist with a range of planning matters, gain exposure to complex development projects, and develop technical and commercial skills in a nationally recognised practice.

You will engage in legal research, document handling, and client-facing work while supporting experienced planning lawyers across development, regeneration, energy and infrastructure matters.

Qualifications

• Interest in planning law and the built environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support lawyers on planning matters including Town and Country Planning Act cases, DCOs, NSIPs and major development schemes.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence and planning-related submissions; provide administrative and project management support.
• Conduct legal research into planning legislation, policy and case law; assist with due diligence and planning agreements.
